Documents to go has a PDF reader bundled in with their software. I do not have Doc to go because i like wordsmith and it works. I think you could D load a trial version at their site. I do not know if the trial include the PDF viewer, let us know what you think. They claim to offer mac support. documents to go link

The Adobe monstrosity works under Virtual PC.
But really, it's like putting wellington boots on a goldfish. Neat trick, but what's the friggin' point?!
PDF is more suited to a larger display, like a PocketPC, or a laptop.
Learn Peanut markup or whatever it's called these days. Your eBooks will look much nicer on a Palm and be much more readable - you won't have to scroll all over the place to read them.
And Peanut markup is real easy:

That's one nicely formatted, table of contents'd eBook ready to go. And at a fraction of the size of some bloated XXX0000ADDADFA0000ADFASD%%%%PDF monster.

HOW much bigger is a pocket pc than a palm OS pda? or any other pda for that matter. A couple mm? I understand your point of viewing a document on a small screen but POCKETPC??? they are practically the same. just a fraction of an inch smaller. Don't bother replying with the actual specs you just have to pay a visit to any retailer and witness how similar in size these PDAs are.
That has got to be the most rediculous comment ever. viewing a document is better in a pocket pc is better than viewing it in a palm because it just happens to be two tenths of an inch larger. <paper or plastic> And you wouldn't have to scroll on a PPC?? Who are you?

Having both owned a Palm m505 and used an iPaq, I've got a fair idea what I'm talking about.
The Palm m505 has a screen resolution of 160 x 160.
The iPaq has a screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.
As you're probably as mathematically impaired as you are rude: that's 25,600 pixels versus 76,800 pixels. Which would you rather squeeze a PDF onto?
In addition, the little Palm has a 33 MHz Dragonball processor, while the bigger/heavier/eats-batteries-for-breakfast iPaq has a 206 MHz StrongARM processor. That's "slightly" more power to render the PDFs with.
I was stating my opinion that for placing reading materials on a Palm - creating an eBook was a far more practical choice. I stand by that.
Who the hell are YOU?

Larger screen size is not the same thing as higher resolution. popmyk was responding to your screen size statement - not resolution.
BTW, even if you confused screen size to mean screen resolution, Sony has several Palm PDAs with 320*320 res.......joe

You still have to scroll alot with a ppc, So you use up alot more memory, money, batteries to provide the same function as an effeciant Palm? Is that what you are getting at? I respect your opinion but I do not understand the logic of saying one's tiny screen is better than another's tiny screen.

You're missing the point by a couple of miles. Doesn't matter.

No, you wrote this EXACT quote "PDF is more suited to a larger display, like a PocketPC, or a laptop." When in fact the Palms have the same display size as the PocketPC. Further, Sony Palms also have higher res (320*320) similar to PocketPC (240*320). So regardless of whether you really meant larger display size or tried to infer higher display resolution, you are simply incorrect.

Next time double check your facts before you hit the "reply" button. As for your name calling and insults, I'll let it slide since you're obviously just a kid.......joe

PDF is more suited to a larger display
Like a lap top, Not a or any PDA. As they all have a small display.Screen size and Resolution is basically the same in the higher end Palms and PDA's.
It seems like the only thing you really know is name calling. ie.
As you're probably as mathematically impaired as you are rude:
It's the fuzzy math again." PDF is more suited to a larger display "your comment was larger display not a display with a higher resolution.
.
I'm tired of offering informed, practical advice to arrogant know-it-alls.
That is almost funny, Informed... practical...?
I have not used a PDF reader in a palm because I haven't had to. I use my lap top or desk top to read PDF documents, I think a PDF document might be to large (in megabytes)to carry in a Palm. I agree with michael b in viewing it as an e book or a laptop. But bashing people in here, and the palm OS?? I think michael is misinformed, or misunderstood. The Resolution and Screen size is similar in Palms, Handera, Sony as they are in PPC's. The lower end Palms (the palms that have been out for over 2years)do not have the resolution as the Newer PDA's, maybe that is what you are comparing them to. But that is like comparing Records, LPs to Compact Discs. Who would have thought that a simple little question "Anyone know of a PDF reader for the Palm OS " Would turn out to a big flame war? But I guess I'm adding more fuel to the fire. Which makes me a hypocrit. Oh well, there is no such thing as a Dumb question, So i guess there is no such thing as a Dumb answer or Comment. <font color = red> Is the original Question answered? </font>I went a little off topic
