I have to admit that I really like the new i705. Instant messaging and the ability to link to my company email is sweet.

For the businessman its a great product.

For the consumer looking for more fun features, it may be a little lacking.

How about for the mac user? sync with macs out of the box? I like the look.
At least at the Asylum, they treat me with respect.

I am curious--how well integrated is Plam Desktop with OSX Mail? I tried Now Up-to-Date and Contact, and whiel they are full of bloatware(tm) features I really don't need, PowerOnSoftware requires that one re-boot into OS9 just to synch (they won't even support it in Classic mode!). I care not for all their arcane features: I want to synch sicne I use Outloook at work and use the Pal m to keep my Mac and work PeeCee PIMs synched. I also think Now's separating Contacts and Addresses is clumsy. I am frustrated with very poor Palm support on OSX. If Canon can write drivers to let me use their scanners in Classic mdoe, you'd think mroe experienced Mac developers like PowerON would be able to synch! Sad, very sad.

How do you get your email forwarded to the Palm.net email? I would hate to have to log onto my ISP, or Apple and forward my email everytime I leave the office?

Multimail does not work in OS X does it?

Thanks in advance!

JOHN
