Hi! Is there a pdf reader on palm that has a desktop "convertor" that would work in OSX? I think there was one from Adobe but don't think it worked in OSX. I have tons of software manual in pdf format and would like to transfer them to my CLIE so that I can read them when I am stuck in traffic etc. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Acrobat makes a converter for converting pdf files into handheld pdf files but as far as I know there isn't a mac version. What I do is run it under virtual pc

You can run the Adobe Acrobat installer for Palm found on their website. Not only will you get the Classic compatible AcroDesktop, but it will allow your OSX Adobe Acrobat Reader to convert to tagged .pdf and send it to your Palm. I found the AcroDesktop to be glitchy but when I "Send to Palm" under Acrobat Reader for OSX it works like a champ (even though Acro reader has a bunch of bugs itself).

Hmmmm... I just downloaded the acrobat reader for palm 2.0 but find that I cannot install it. Seems that the installer cannot detect my Palm Desktop file (I am using 4.0 in X, nothing in Classic). Maybe it doesn't work with PD4.0 yet?
