Today's the day Microsoft is supposed to release their Palm conduit for Entourage v.X. Waiting for the link to appear on VersionTracker......

Too bad I'm at work and won't get to play around with it on my Visor until I get home in like 8 hours.

Very Cool! Did not duplicate all of my records like Entourage 2001 conduit did when that was first released! I've synched, change records, and resynched without issue! It is good to use my Palm m505 again for something other than a paper weight

Do you have the option to synch the first time? Is that what you did? Or do you have to pick one that overwrites the other?

Does anyone know if this will be compatible or combatable with mail's central repository in Jaguar?

I will wait a few days for comments about this conduit and to see what happens wednesday on at macworld.
Waiting for Snow Leopard. September 1.

Two questions

1. CALENDER sync is totally not working....in my handheld's calender it added all my all previous "day events" to one day, todays date. nothing shows up on the calender that took place before todays date...any ideas? what if I were to set the date on my cpu back a year or two and then hotsync?

1. since the PDA only stores one address for many people in my entourage I have home and work addresses...will syncing it back from the pda delete the second address from entourage?

Finally a conduit for Entourage! But it does not work. It gets to my Datebook and dies. It syncs everything else but when it come to my Palm m505's date book poof, nada, goodbye.

Has anyone had this problem? If so did you find a way around it?

just a thought...

Sorry... just read my post... to rebuild your entourage database, hold down the option key while starting up entourage. It will give you two choices, 1)typical rebuild, 2)advanced rebuild. They both take a good bit of time (the advanced obviously takes much longer), depending on how big your database is. After you have rebuilt it, you'll want to go to your MS user folder and delete the files labeled old database, and old database cache. Not any guarantees that this'll do it for you, but it worked for a friend who was having problems synching Entourage 2001 in classic.
good luck!

ddinkno,

Thanks for the suggestion. It did not work but, the info provided is useful for other things.

I think the actual problem is with the either the Hotsync program or the conduit itself. Since none of what I sync'd actually went through.

good luck!
