Hi all,

I've had a Palm III for a couple of years now and have never really used it to it's full potential, but I just got the new USB adaptor for it and I'd like to sync it up with OE5 so I can synchronize e-mails.....It seems that this is ssomething that Palm assumed we should pay for (this stinks!) so I'm looking for a recommendation on Palm E-Mail conduits etc. - Does anyone have any suggestions for a stable program to use? Any other nifty Palm apps out there that people have used? I travel a lot and would love some kind of "Rough Guide" to various cities that would work on the Palm - Do any include Maps / diagrams or is that expecting too much of such a tiny machine?!!

Thanks

Matt

I've used MultiMail PRO for some time now with both OE5 and Eudora and find it to be out and away the best that there is. It can handle some Attachments and can easily synchronise with the Mac.

Hope that this helps.

PS I believe that they have lately been taken over by Palm, which hopefully will lead to more development.

Not to be too much of a pessimist, but Palm also took over the previous Palm email/web/fax leader (Smartcode Software - HandMail, HandWeb, HandFax, etc...), and eventually killed off their products.

I do hope it doesn't happen to Actual Software. Not only was MultiMail a great program, but they had excellent support as well.

If I use my Palm (via modem) to pull my email daily while on vacation, what will happen to attachments? Is there a setting to keep mail on the server as well as downloading it?

How do I get Multimail Pro to sync with Outlook Express? I' ve got the Mac conduit and that syncs the Inbox with the Palm generic Mail application. But Multimail Pro does not display them! (???)
It asks me to configure the server settings etc., but I do not want to use it to retrieve mail directly from the web - I just want to synchronize with my Outlook mail folders on the Mac. Is that possible?
