Did I read on MacNN or elsewhere a couple of months ago that Apple would be unveiling a PDA at the MacWorld Conference this month in New York?

If not, does Handspring have plans to put out a color version?

That was a rumor. Though I'd love to see one, I don't think they're going to unveil one.

I don't think that there is a huge market for one, and Apple wants to avoid disasters like the Newton. Sure, the Newton was a good product, but not many people bought it. It was too heavy and expensive, and wasn't that compatible with the PC.
