Bought a Prism today!

I bought a Prisim today - it's what I have been waiting for. It replaces my Newton 2100 - I will miss the Newt but I was getting sick of incomplete syncs with Newton Connection Utilities and wanted a smaller PDA - thus the Prism. I think it looks great!

I almost feel like selling my Visor Delux and getting one.
I can see now how having a color palm and the Fireviewer would be killer for all the image maps I like to carry around.

No, shorter battery life. We are talking about a color display here. It only lasts for 6 hours of continuous use, but it charges right in the cradle so that shouldn't be too much of a problem. Also it has a faster processor that runs at 33 MHz and Palm OS 3.5.1h.

Got my prism two days ago and love it!!! Now I have this little ole Orange Visor dlx.. Off to Ebay in two secs!! I think I'll go for a 3 day auction since handspring sent my order in less than two months this time around!

I have seen the Visor Prism at FutureShop up here in Canada and the screen totally rocks! 16 bit color on the Palm is finally here. This unit totally rocks WinCE devices. And yea, it is faster than the other Palms as well. If only the Palm had built in 16 bit sound then you could watch ActiveSky movies with sound...
