If you have an original Newton, you'll want at least a 130.
The 120 has no backlight, very limited heap and cant do internet applications very affectivly. The 130 does have a backlight, much more heap memory and can quite easily do net applications. Nethopper uses NIE (newton internet enabler) to connect the net, and NIE connects to the net via standard PPP dialup, or even ethernet. All the 1x0 series Newtons use a 20mhz ARM processor, the 2x00 use a 162.9mhz StrongARM, and the emate uses a 25mhz ARM. The 110,120,130,2000 and 2100 use AA batteries for power, and the 2x00 can use the "accupak" which is a sealed rechargable battery pack... the batteries in a 120/130 (without backlight) will last around 20 hours of use, with backlight, less than half that.
