I recently bought a new MP120 and am a longtime Apple user. I am so happy with the MP120 that I am debating replacing my Palm IIIx and MP120 with a MP2100. Does anyone have any advice either way and do you find that using the MP2100 is difficult now that there is no longer support out there? Thanks for any advice.

I had an MP 130 and an MP 2100...I now have a handspring deluxe. I really liked the Netwons and it's ability to expand and grow as your needs grow.
It does have a few drawbacks. Break it and you will have a hard time getting it repaired. You might encounter problems in replacing it later. You might also have problems in getting your information over to another hand held once your love affair with Newton ends.
I would get another Newton in a second...but only if they supported them again.
I really enjoy my Handspring. I had a PalmPilot 1000 and a Palm IIIe before my current device. In all, I have always used palm devices over the past 5+ years...and I loved the Newton the most. It just went away. And I am sad about it.

I am a MCSE that works for the second largest hospital network in the world. I have a 100, 120, and a MP2100. I use them seamlessly with the MS network at work.
I do not use it but I beilive you can run Palm desktop on the 2100. For what I do at work the thing serves me very well. I also use Order Form Pro to run my consulting buisness.

BTW, it's 'easy' to get a Newton fixed, just call 1-800-SOS-APPL, find somebody that knows what a Newton is, then get your credit card out, get ready to pay US$189.00, wait for a FedEX box, send it in, wait 10 days(about), it's fixed! I've done this two times in the last eight months.
