Has anyone had any success updating their units to the new OS? I've tried for hours last week and was caught in an infinite loop unable to get out. Palm support had no clue and I finally had to ask for a refund.

I'm using a III w/ 3.3

No problems updating 3 Palm Vs and a Palm IIIx. Though the IIIx was from a Windows machine.

Thanks Mick, but I think it's an exclusive problem with the III's. Is the upgrade worth all the trouble?

I went from 3.1 to 3.5 so it changed the way that the network connections worked (it made it possible to me to use IrDA via my phone) so it was worth it for me.

Not sure what it gives going from 3.3 :-(
