When I buy my iMac, I want the ability to sync my three month old, 8 meg Palm IIIxe with both a PC (work) and the iMac (home). Is anyone syncing across the lines with success - or failure? Does the Palm Software on both computers match?

What else do I need to do or buy? Thanks.

I hotsynch a Palm IIIx with both a peecee and an iMac. For the iMac I bought the Palm USB Connect Kit(about $40). It includes the Palm 2.5 desktop, mac hotsynch software, and a USB cable for the iMac.
The desktops are quite different in look and feel, with the Mac desktop more complex, and I think, cluttered.
Be sure you have the latest hotsynch upgrade available from Palm which was released around May 2000. Before that I could not hotsynch once I had OS 9.0.4 on the iMac.
