Has anyone else tried to use the OS 3.5 upgrade from Palm on a Palm III? The upgrade process failed several times on mine. I used their trouble-shooting by putting the Palm into debug mode, which wiped out the entire Palm, and still did not work. I was able to download the OS 3.3 from their web site and reload that OS. I am waiting for their second-level of tech support to call me back.

When I tried to upgrade on my Palm IIIx it failed repeatedly on a serial-USB adapter cable. Finally, it worked OK when I updated it using a straight serial cable attached to the cradle on a desktop PC. COuld be that the USB connection causes probs...
