I want to buy a PDA -- TRGpro. However, I have heard many times that Apple will make a new PDA for Mac!!! What do you think? Will Apple have a new PDA soon? Should I wait for it? Or should I buy a PDA right now?

IMHO, the situation is that Apple will not make another "PDA" device in the near future. At least as long as Jobs has his way. The closest thing I can see coming is a OS X running Mac-slate type device, and I doubt it would be small enough to be called a PDA.
Either go with a Palm, or even better, a Newton but I wouldnt hold my breath for another Apple PDA.

Well, it really depends on your need.. if a PDA is moderately to very important for you to have now, go with a Palm/handspring/TRG/whatever now.. however, if it's more of a want than a necessity, wait for an Apple PDA. just don't hold your breath while waiting...

Don't wait because Apple will not release a PDA. But a Palm now.

It won't happen, but Apple should make a PDA running MacOSX with Palm and Cocoa APIs, and then have inkwell as the input technology.
I would buy one of those. But as said, a slate like product is more likely.

Nah, any PDA built by Apple would have to run off of the PalmOS or suffer the Newton's fate. It would at least have to use some kind of transparent Palm emulation to run those apps if desired. A "lite", color version of the MacOS with Quicktime, Text/Database/Spreadsheet Editor w/AppleWorks compatibility (Appleworks lite?), IE, Quicken, OS X Mail, and existing standard Palm apps would sell in a flash. Maybe add stickies for fun. Make the whole thing ready to connect to an AirPort network with no card addition needed. When in range, you gain automatic email downloads and internet access, sync capabilities with your desktop, and a special drag-and-drop folder on your airport-enabled desktop, saving cradle costs (make a USB cradle an OPTION - $$ -, or better yet just add a USB port to hook up zips, cds, HDs and stuff!). Make it look great, clear bright screen, fast, around a $550 price point. If Sony's can sell around there, I think Apple would do great with this and make a pretty good profit. Bundle it with new macs at a discount! They'd sell like hotcakes.
