I Have a card that my Newton is saying it needs a new battery. I believe it's an SRAM card since it has a battery (please correct me if I'm wrong). I ejected the card, but I don't see anywhere a battery can be taken out. It's made by The Edge. Anyone have any suggestions???? Is it talking about the circular silver battery by the Double A's and not the Card??? Thanks!

Do you have an Emate?
Theres a error with one of the emate rom versions that mistakes a flash card for an sram card and tells you to change the non existant battery.
To fix this just install the rom update which is available from the apple website.

No I have a MP2000 (which I love!). I should have mentioned that, sorry! I took the card out and put it back in and so far I haven't received that message again. Is there any precautions I should take??? Thanks for the response
