I bought my niece an Palm m100, I have a Palm IIIe. I like the notepad program that comes with the m100, my question is can I copy that program onto my Palm IIIe, after all, I did buy it..........

What's new is that you can jot notes in your own handwriting, I think that you are thinking of memopad. The m100 has that and a program called notepad which keeps the note they way you write in, in your own handwriting.

There's a Palm program that already does that (actually, I think there's more than one). The one I'm thinking of is called "Diddle" and is avaiable wherever fine Palm software is downloaded.

It'll take alot more than a sketch feature to make the notepad as good the Newton notepad

The big difference with the new Palm m100 memopad app. is that it can not translate the digitial ink into editable text like the Newton could. Close, but no cigar.
