How do I do this? As I understand it:

(1) The installer for sale/download is flakey and may not
work.

(2) Non US residents can't download the installer anyway.

(3) The Palm OS 3.5 on CD is not available outside the US.

(4) The Mobile Internet Kit is Win only so even though I can buy it
in Australia its useless unless I get a Windows machine or
run VPC etc. I don't have access to either of these options.

I can't decide if who Palm hates most - Mac users or non US residents :-(

most - Mac users, is my guess. I gave up on the 3.5 upgrade and applied for my refund. I was pleasantly surprised when it came in the other day. In fact, they gave me more than I had paid by a few $'s. The only thing I can figure is they thought I'd paid for shipping. Tisk. Tisk. Poor fiscal control/mgt. Don't take it personnally.
