I am VERY new at this entire Palm OS-hotsync--thing. I would like to purchase a PDA but would like to use one application for everything on both my PDA and iBook. I would like to use the new Office 2001 because of the entourage, but I'm not sure how that works on the PDA. I need: e-mail, to do, calendar, address book, ect... any suggestions? Also, can you somehow transport MS word files to your Palm? and change them?
I am familiar with the Palm desktop but will that sync with Office 2001?

Any Help would be great!

I can only guess, but I assume PalmOS integration will be complete. They have address book in OE5, so I know they're aware of it and capable. It would certainly take a lot away from Office if it couldn't sync schedules and stuff too. I'm sick of Palm desktop, and Consultant. I want to be able to read and compose email on my Visor.

I think office 2001 might not be a good solution, after all. at the office forum, people are saying that email in entourage doesn't sync with the palmOS. I don't even know of any substitutes, either.

Sucks. I was considering getting office 2001, but without email sync, it becomes much weaker. I might get it anyhow.
