I just got a Newton 120 from ebay, and it seems that the powerslide is not working. It is loose, and has no spring. How can I fix this? It turns on from the restart button in the batterly thing, but I cannot get the powerslide to work. Is something loose?

Try contacting Dr. Newton (I think he has an ad at This Old Newt). He does a lot of Newton repairs, expecially 120s and 130s. He could probably tell you what's wrong and fix it for you. I have heard excellent things about him.
