Okay, so I decided to get the hotsync USB cable that Handspring makes, now that I have a decent USB laptop. Thing is, I can't for the life of me find a way to get the cable to sync! There's no sync button anywhere (as on the cradle) and I can't find any software-driven way on the Visor (a Deluxe) or the Mac to force the sync. Handspring's site doesn't even acknowledge the crade in the support section, from what I can tell. Any thoughts? I'm pretty sure I'm just missing the obvious, but could someone tell me what obvious thing I'm missing?
Thanks,

Adam

There is software on the Visor called Hotsync or Sync (I don't have mine with me and forget exactly what it's called) but this is the program which is run when the button on the cradle is pushed. The icon is the circle with the two arrows pointing past each other, the typical hotsync icon.

Tap that icon, and the program will come up, in the middle of the screen will be two big 'sync' icons, on the left for 'local sync' and on the right for 'modem sync'. Tap the one on the left (with the cable plugged in of course) and it will commence.

The software is definately on the Visor, it's in the ROM.

Steph is totally right on that one. The application is called "HotSync" by the way.
