I have finished setting up a web page with some Visor (Deluxe) hardware modifications. I had a hard time finding Visor-oriented hardware hack pages, so after doing these hacks myself, I figured others might like to see what I have done.

Specifically, I stuck a pair of rechargable alkaline batteries in the Visor, and wired the Visor to recharge the batteries while it was in it's cradle. I also installed a 'Tale-Light' compatible light internally, which can be made to blink as a silent alarm or while playing some games and so on (with standard tale-light software).
