I can't sync my newton in OS X retail, I use NCU and Xircom USB to serial adapter. Please please please somebody tell me that a carbon or coca sync utility for the newton exist!

Sorry, but the problem lies in the serial adapter. Since Classic doesn't have direct hardware access you can't use the serial adapter. Try booting to OS 9.1 to sync. If you really need to sync in OS X, try using AppleTalk. I believe that still works in the Classic environment.

Actually i think that classic does have USB support, all i have is a MP130 so i can't use appletalk

The problem is not in accessing the USB ports -- Classic can do that just fine, I think. The issue is that the Xircom drivers do not want to cooperate with the Classic environment. Keyspan has released some carbonized drivers for their adapter. That is what Xircom needs to do for their adapters to function in OS X.

Ahhh..well, thanks for the info, does anyone think that i could use the keyspan drivers?
