I got some apps that only run on Windoze. So my question is: How to set up my VPC3.0.3 to sync with my Visor Deluxe?
I've got MacG4,400,MacOS 9.1. I've tried basically everything, but the damn VPS won't sync.
Please, someone, give me advice on how to proceed...

I'm not real sure here, but try the Visor website and download the Windoze drivers for the cradle. The USB connection should work just fine and treat it like another periferal.

I've tried installing the drivers from the CD that came with the Visor, and I can't get it working. I've disconnected the Mac serial port monitor.
As far as I can see, VPC needs to be set so the USB port works. But generally I can only simulate serial ports in the VPC. I'm running Win98...

Hmmm. . . That's odd. I could have sworn that VPC 3.0 had USB support. I know that 4.0 does. I think in both versions the USB settings are in the preferences or the settings. In that window there is a list of all the possible things to change (monitor, RAM, etc.) and when you select USB it should give a list of possible USB devices to enable. If the cradle shows up, then make sure it's selected. If not, (and if your VPC is, um, registered ) you can always call Connetix.

If this doesn't make any sense, let me know. I'm not feeling very lucid right now.

I have a visor and an imac snow 128/500 with virtual pc 3.0.
and I am having the same problem. all my other usb items work ex. printer, camera ( pc only). I have the palm desktop installed in mac and virtual pc I just can't sync when I am running windows.
I am trying to get my e mail to work in my visor. Currently ( that I know of) I could only set up email via pc.
I tried Eudora for the mac and it doesn't work.

At least at the Asylum, they treat me with respect.

Now I've upgraded VPC to 4.0.1, and it works beautifully. The speed is tremendous, but I still can't get it working/syncing with my Visor. I've noticed that the HotSync Manager never really launches, which I guess implies that it's a port conflict. I'm still working on it, but if anyone has any good ideas please let me know!
When it comes to syncing e-mail, I've found that the latest Multimail Conduit for Mac works perfectly with Eudora 5 pro. Just make sure to set the Eudora to "old-style .toc files" or something like that...
