I am helping a friend with his Powerbook. I am not too familiar with the older Powerbooks, he has a 266 G3 (is this a Wallstreet?) Anyway, he is using a Palm V I believe through serial.
I updated his OS to 9.1 from 8.6 recently. Initialized and did a whole new installation of everything including the latest Palm OS and HotSync manager. here is the problem he is having:
He has contacts in his Palm that have the person's name, address, phone number, etc. But the Powerbook only has the phone number and name, when it Hotsyncs it's not transferring over the entire address. I called Palm support and they reccomended changing the connection speed of the Hotsync to the slowest....didn't help. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be happening and any possible fixes? I am not to familiar with Palm.
