A few of you may remember my thread about Japanese input on various PDAs from a little while ago. Well, I made a decision about which to buy between the Visor and the Newton...
I want both!
For now, I bought the Visor because I appreciate the form factor, and it has the software I need for it for Japanese input and dictionaries (though the Newton has some of them as well, I had a much more difficult time finding info on the Newton software available). And, I do like the PalmOS, although it has many shortcomings(well, Ilike it for now...we'll see how much I like it when it decides that it can't do something I want

). So, now I have this nice little blue Visor Deluxe.
I am still waiting to hear about getting my job in Japan, but if I get it, I will be leaving in mid-June, and I fully intend to have a Newton MP2100 to take with me.
So, hopefully soon, I'll have the best of both worlds to play with. Ahhh, I love new toys.
Anyway, just sharing my happy news as I step into the world of PDAs for the first time.
Cheers.
