I just got a Handy GPS unit from the wonderful, techie-present-giving fiance. I'm so lucky...

However, I've played around with it a little, and it seems somewhat unintuitive. It makes you go to a website to download maps, which are only available in city or county--what happens when you want to travel across a state?? Keep loading different maps? So that seems stupid. I haven't got the satellites to hook up yet, but will try again tonite.

The features look good on the website, I just don't know if they're the best. I've got 30 days to return it, but I won't bother doing that unless someone sells me on another GPS module that seems cooler.

Anybody have experience? Preference? Pros/Cons?
