I didn't like the price and bulkiness of Pocket Quicken -- opting instead for Pocket Money for my IIIxe.

However, it continues to exist in my Powerbook hotsync manager. And this is the error message I just got in my log:

Beginning PocketQuicken Sync
Unable to open Quicken data file for read-only access (os err -43)
Ending PocketQuicken Sync synchronization failed
Pocket Quicken synchronization failed
"Pocket Quicken" failed (error = #-1)
********************

How do I rid this off Hotsync?

The easiest way is to delete the app. Turn on your PDA, hit the menu button, and select delete. Then point at Pocket Quicken and tap delete.

Now on to the conduit. Find your Conduit folder. It is located insude the Palm folder. Either delete the Pocket Quicken conduit or drag it to another location if you might want to try the program again. Viola!!!
