I wuz wondering is the a place where I could get me a Newton. I know Apple doesn't support anymore and that they're hard to get, but I'd like one.

Good choice on PDAs. I would recommend joining the NewtonTalk mailing list at www.planetnewton.com and send a want-to-buy email to the list. That's how I got my Newtons. Otherwise there is the comp.sys.newton.marketplace newsgroup, the Newton classifieds at http://www.personaladdoctor.com/newton/index3.cgi and my least favorite, eBay. Sometimes deals can be had at eBay, but I have had better luck with the NewtonTalk list.

Also, Apple does support the Newtons, sort of. They will repair the newer Newtons for a fee. Otherwise, the Newton community offers amazing support for free.

I'd reccomend looking around as much as possible before buying - you might find a good deal.

I bought a Newton 2100 (the final model) last summer. Some guy had bought one, then it broke after a while. He sent it back to Apple, who sent him a new one, but ended up buying a laptop for his business in the meantime. He got the Newton back and shoved it in his closet.

Anyway, I got an absolutely perfect and brand-new Newton 2100 for $600 Cdn. - what, $350 or so US????? I've got a 56k modem and a keyboard now.......if only it would hook up to my G4 so I could install some damn software........(sigh).
