Is there any interest out there in a web site for Palm/Mac users? I'd love to see something like this become a resource-packed supersite full of great info, timely news, and worthwhile discussions.

The site would user-supported with news, reviews, tips, software downloads, discussions, tutorials, etc; rather than myself or a news staff posting the content, the site would be run entirely by the readership--I'm sure you've seen similar sites around.

Would you visit, contribute, post, and/or spread the word? Let me know --I'm itching to complete this project, but I don't want to put anymore effort into it if few people are interested contributing.

Looking forward to hearing from everyone...

I could contribute a lot of questions... It is difficult to find Mac-specific Palm info on the web, in my experience.

Annoying, since Palm's compatibility with the Mac was the whole reason I went there after Newton. It was a disappointment to discover an incompletely integrated solution.... again.

Most of the people in my PDA user group seem to be Windows geeks.

So yeah, I think it would be a good forum.

definately interested in mac/palm website. With user reviews on mac freindly applications..I would like better mail conduit for a mac that does not cost $40. Those that do have the mail conduit. how do they like it? Getting your visor to sync with Virtual PC?Ebook info, utilities etc.I have a lot of questions and lots of personal opinions that I could/would share. A web site would be cool.
At least at the Asylum, they treat me with respect.

Only three replies, but I'm glad to see some interest; I imagine there are many others who mirror the posters' sentiments.

If I had a site ready by the middle to end of the week, would those of you that commented--and the rest of you that are reading--be willing to submit some initial pre-launch content? That would give the site a real boost for its launch so that we can start to build a solid user community. I'm hoping this becomes a great resource for us Palm/Mac users!

So, if you're up for it, start writing/thinking about news, tutorials, hints & tips, reviews, editorials, web links, and the like.

I am looking *very* forward to completing and debuting this project!

Thanks for the link, Michael. Its great to see that a complementary web site already exists--users are in fact interested in Mac-specific Palm info. I am optimistic that the site will be a success.

There's probably a lot of interest, it's just that most folks don't cruise the Palm thread at MacNN unless they have a problem.

I'd be interested in a site, so good luck.
He can be fixed -- you can't.
