I was at PC expo this week and while walking through the MS pavilion I saw something out of the corner of my eye... it was a newton.

First time I ever saw one. I went over and picked it up to check it out. Seems there was a huge black thing on the back of it, then the guy said he uses it to scan attendee cards.

Just thought I'd share.

PS: PC XPO doesn't even have that many PCs anymore, its all PDAs and wireless .. still a cool show.

What an unexpected place for a Newton to show up! I just love it when I see them in use. I was at Disney World in Florida last year and was pleasanty surprised when I noticed the employees taking demographic info from folks entering MGM using Newtons.

Considering the Newton 2x00 uses the Intel StrongArm processor and is just so darn versatile we really shouldn't be surprised. My 2000 is going strong, and replaced my laptop for email when I travel.

Newtons Rock!!!
