Hi,

I just recieved my new G4 and loaded quicken 2001D and pocket quicken. After I loaded these up, I hotsynced to a visor platinum. During the hotsync I recieved a message saying that the hotsync was interrupted. Upon reading the hotsync log, it stated that the "Quicken data file was unreadable." It seems that pocket quicken made it on to my visor, but I don't know if I will have problems or are lacking something important because of this error.

What is this error and what can I do to correct it? During the hotsync other files were loaded onto the visor correctly and information was transferred to palm desktop with no problems.

please help!

Make sure that in the conduit for Pocket Quicken you manually select the quicken data file... Then I'd suggest restarting your mac. Once in awhile I get an error with PQ and usually, trying again get's it to work or a restart of the computer. I don't know why but it does. Also, you know when quicken sometimes reminds you to do your taxes or some other menu like message pops up when you start up quicken? I think that also interupts with the conduit... but I just manually launch Quicken on my mac end to make sure I hit ok now and then.. I hope you understand what I'm saying. Hope this all helps.
