Bought a spanking new 20'' iMac Core Duo. The speed and screen are so awesome, especially for me who have been using an G4 iBook for a year, but finally after a lot of saving, and a lot of work I got the money for an iMac. It rocks!

20" iMac Core Duo
2.0Ghz
2.0 Gigs Ram
256Mb Vram
250 GB Hard Drive
Logitech S 530 Laser Apple Wireless Keyboard/Mouse
Klipsch Pro Media Speakers
OS X Version 10.4.6
Boot Camp w/XP Pro
Sony DSC-F707 5.0 Megapixel Camera
Panasonic Digital Camcorder
I forget the desk manufacturer
Your Klipsch speakers are wonderful! It's amazing how much better the Klipsch ProMedia speakers are compared to the overrated, undersounding and horribly-balanced Logitech speakers. For audiophiles and regular users alike... I see so many people with the Logitech Z series and I just want to cry...

Dude, that's a beefy setup! 500 gigs! I can't figure out how to fill up my 250 gig, let alone another 250 When are you getting that?
You know whats funny? My cousin just got that same desk, and our gramdma bought it for him. lol. Such a nice desk though, I want one.

Ya! It's nice desk only costs $126 too. I really wanna mount another LCD flat under the glass, something small to have iTunes in. I think that would be so cool, but alas, I can only have one external with my iMac

Is that a 20"? Hell, 17" would be enough for me. I just do light Photoshop and a bit of Garageband. But my 12" iBook definately doesn't cut it, but when they come out I want to get a Mac Pro. Then get a power adapter for my 19" LCD on my basement.

20" and a 19" ... I feel like upgrading the external though. I bought it for $368 and now it's selling for $220 *shakes head* It's getting really easy to find 20" widescreens for under $400 so I might do that and use my 19" for work. I love the ACD's but they're just to pricy for me

Nothing makes up for good photography. Excellent setup, Cyber Pete. And smart thinking with your iPod! That's a good spot for it

Isn't that window a little bright to put a computer against it? Bad for your eyes. Why not the blue wall?

If I could be so bold as to contribute here, the DS lite is most definitely worth getting. It's the best Nintendo portable I've ever used, and I've used them all. The screen is absolutely fantastic, and the buttons feel fantastic. I just did 480 lines on Endless Tetris last night without my hands even getting uncomfortable.

No clean desk for me although this is about as messy as it gets. This iMac replaces a DP 1.8 G5 with 2.25 GB RAM and it already feels faster even with only the stock 512MB. Amazing. Have to order 2GB RAM today

Heres my iMac and Macbook in my studio, I move everything around a LOT between upstairs and this room, so it's always in a state of chaos.
not pictured is my electronic percussion just on the other side of the chair.
