iMac brightness control

I have my 20" iMac for 2 days, what a nice productive machine!
The only problem I found is the brightness, I am not comfortable to work with the display for long time, say 30-mins or more even the brightness has been set to the lowest level.
Is there further control can turn down the brightness?

Perhaps you could re-calibrate your display and create a new color profile? I thought the original settings for my iMac were too bright and the colors looked washed out - so I calibrated my monitor and changed the target gamma to a 2.2 Television Gamma. You can change all these settings and under System Preferences > Displays > Color and select "Calibrate.." to create a new profile.

It seems the 1.8 gamma and 9300 white point gives the most comfortable mood to my eyes ....
