Hi, it sound good, but when I tried to run Apple Color (from Final Cut Studio 2), it didn't work and wrote a message that it needs at leas 128MB VRAM and that I have only 64MB in the MacMini ... so it seems, the use of RAM for video is blocked for this application.
Any suggestion?

I think I remember this thread. Not too well but it went along the path that supposedly if the vram was software capped that it theoretically "SHOULD" be able to be uncapped. This is akin to uncapping a cable modem... removing the software limiters. I think though that whole thing died a quiet and lingering death. No one found a way to do it. I still maintain my position that if it IS limited by software its actually going to be on the chips themselves on the motherboard. Not easily hacked.
But still wonders never cease and I'd be amazed if someone DIDN'T find a way to do it. If you're really interested stop looking in Mac only type forums and start scouring the net on places like tomshardware.com and such. Look at some overclocking sites. Remember that this IS a standard Intel board. Good hunting.

Backups are like guns and condoms. It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Even if you set the Mac mini to use >128MB VRAM, you'd stab yourself in the face after trying to use Color on GMA 950.
