I'm using the recently released iMac with a Dell 2408WFP and when I rotate the external monitor, the image will not adjust to the portrait orientation. I tried changing the rotation in the display preferences, but whatever I do, it doesn't adjust.
I had no issues like this with my G4 Powerbook.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Odd. Try making a new user account and see if you have the same issue with the new account.
Have you applied the recently released graphics firmware update from Apple?

Yeah, it was one of the first updates when I got the iMac.
This is a bit strange and it's becoming a bit annoying! I'll try the separate user account and let you know how it goes.
Thanks for your help!
