Had to go mobile for my ChE senior design, so I picked up a 667 Powerbook, was definitely nice, and now I'm in tears that I have to part with it. This is the 667 model, with 30 gb hard drive. It came standard with 256 mb ram, yet I put in a crucial 256 mb stick, to make a total of 512 mb presently. I also added in an airport card from the apple store here in atlanta. Also, I purchased the Titanium1 carrying case, also from the Apple Store, which I think was around $150 or so, very nice case. The book has always been carried in that case, and whenever out, I've ALWAYS had it on a towel so that it wouldn't receive a single scratch!!! (Believe me, I got lots of crap for my towel!!)

I'm looking for maybe $2250 or so for it all? Let me know what you think, or what you're willing. I will take pictures shortly, and get them up somewhere on the web. You can email any questions you might have to: gte908m@prism.gatech.edu

Also, if you're interested, my ebay username is: g4powermac4ever if you want to check out my credibility. Thanks.

**Edit-This IS the DVI model to clear things up!!***

You can pick up an Apple Refurbished version of that model for about $2199, including a 1-year warranty. You should shoot for $2000 or so.

I'm just assuming that the airport card ($100), upgraded ram ($60), and the carrying case ($150) all sorta warrant the extra $$ over just the normal model. I'd definitely part with it though for $2200 I've decided since I'm too lazy to list on ebay. Anyone?

A couple months ago I tried to sell my powerbook--the exact same model and specs (incl. airport card) you have, but with the faster 48 GB drive--and I had no takers. My price started out like yours, then I tried lowering and lowering. Even on eBay, no one wanted it at a starting price of $1700. oh well. such are the mysteries of the world.

Oh yeah, there was some confusion. This IS the DVI model, with the upgraded screen resolution and L3 cache. Sorry I didn't specify that!!

that's sweet. now we're talking! I'm pretty sure everyone thought you were talking about the rev.B models.

I'd change your post title, inserting 'DVI' after '667'.

good luck!

How come I seem to change it on the edit page, but it doesn't show up?

One of the mods said that there is a time limit of 5 minutes to change the title of your post. Therefore, since it has been a few days, I'm sure we're stuck with the title you have now. I don't really understand why the time limit is in there. I mean, we can edit our posts any time we want so why can't we change the title? Oh well...
Yeah, about those TPS reports, didn't you get the memo?
