I figure that the best way to do it is to offer it on eBay and then let you gusy know about it, so if you are interested in buying this you can find it at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2044652809

Here are a few of the details. Feel free to ask any questions!

Apple Macintosh B&W (Blue and White) G3 PowerMac tower with a matching beautiful Apple blue & white 17" Apple Display Monitor! It has been taken care of well and looks like brand new! I will ship it in the original box, with the original styrofoam packaging.

This G3 has been loved by its owner and has been upgraded to 256mb (megabytes) of RAM (memory). 4 DIMM slots accept up to 1.5 GB of RAM! It has the original 6.4 GB (gigabytes) Maxtor hard drive.

This machine is maxed out with 2 firewire ports, 2 USB 1.1 ports (4 if counted with an Apple Pro Keyboard) a ADB/serial port, 10/100 Ethernet, 4 expansion bay slots. It has a graphics card and SCSI card installed and has the original DVD-RAM drive in it. This means you can write to DVD-RAM discs or disks. You can also watch DVD movies on it as well!

I have been running it with Mac OS 9.2.2 and Mac OS X 10.1.5 and it is quite speedy. My home is smoke-fee, so there will be no unattractive odors or stains on any of the items.

If the bid goes over $500, I will also throw in an almost new Epson Stylus Color 140i that is a matching bondi blue/blueberry & ice/snow white.

Since I am continuing to use the extra software that I had installed on this computer, it will not come with any extra software. You install what you want this machine to run.

The G3 B&W tower does have 2 small "stress cracks" by the blue apple on the side, but this is the only blemish on any of the items you are receiving with your winning bid.

Hi, Kon-El,

This Mac supports 1.5gig ram in OS 9, but is quite likely to support 2gig (not officially, but it works) in OS X.

If someone were to put four 512mb modules in it, it would quite likely see 2gig in OS X.
If this post is in the Lounge forum, it is likely to be my own opinion, and not representative of the position of MacNN.com.

Thank you VMarks,

Great information like this is one of the many reasons I love this place. I'll be sure to let the winner of the auction know that.
