I've been a PC user for a dozen frustrating years...and I've come to accept that I'll never be able to make the switch to a Mac. But that, HOPEFULLY...is where you come in. Click here for my story: www.johnsonandtofte.com/mac.htm

Mods, this counts as SPAM no? So please remove it or throw it into the forum where it can properly be torn to shreds.

If I saw this guy in the street I'd do my best to run him down. F'ing slime...
Mod it down, remove him, do what you must.

Whether this is for real or not, who knows. Radio "personalities" are infamous for their stupid pranks.
If it is for real, it's just typical of the public's tendency to feel that they "deserve" things that they don't really need.
Either way it's completely ludicrous and idiotic.

i am a poor college student and because i don't have that much disposable income i don't expect the latest 17" iMac like this idiot DJ does. he should buy a mid-model iMac for under $500. Runs OS X just fine. what a goon!

Student Loans/Grants/Work Study are your friends. I know where you're coming from as I had to go the same route in my College days.
Apple has a fine program for students where you defer the majority of the payments for two years and you basically pay interest only.
It's a Good Thing if you *must* have a machine. It's a *bad* thing when the two-year period runs out.
