With Apple announcing that soon, Mac OS X booting will be the only option, I feel that now is a good time to sell my three-year-old Power Mac G4 and get a new Mac OS 9.2-bootable computer while I still can.

I need to know how much I can sell my current computer for.

I have:
Power Macintosh G4 (PCI Graphics)
400 MHz
256 MB RAM (PC 100)
10 GB, 5400 RPM Hard Disk (ATA 33)
Rage 128 video card (PCI)
DVD-ROM drive (I think it's either 5X or 6X.)
Zip 100 drive
56K V.90 modem
Apple USB Keyboard
Apple USB Mouse

Also included:
Keyspan Digital Media Remote (15 button)
MacAlley iMediaKey keyboard
XLR8 Point & Scroll mouse
Power Macintosh G4 Restore disk (Mac OS 8.6 + other included software)
Mac OS 9.2
Mac OS X 10.1
Virtual PC 3 with Windows 98

So, how much is this worth and where is a good place to sell it?

I would say in the area of $600 or less (Maybe even closer to $500), the fact that it is a PCI machine hurts it's value a bit... And havng the stock 10GB drive doesnt help either.

A good place to sell? Here, or eBay.

If I were you, I would keep the keyboard and mouse. I love my ikey keyboard and can't stand the optical mice from apple (even though they look cool).

Check the eBay completed sales for a good guide to how much you can get for your computer. You'll be amazed by some people's ignorance!I'm sure you could get closer to $600 for that set-up.

And if you do go the eBay route, make a nice ad and set a low starting bid. This will make sure lot's of people bid, instead of waiting for the last moment like a high starting bid will.
