The person who gave it to me said "Don't worry about paying me. I am just happy to get the desk space back." I am still going to pay her, but I can't come up with an accurate price. I am thinking somewhere between $100-$150. It is a rev.B with 4GB and 32mb RAM. Does my offer sound fair?

Unless you have reason the person is lying and really expects money, I wouldn't "pay" her. Your apprasial is probably accurate, but I would take her to a nice dinner, buy her a nice bottle of wine, etc.

You can be greatful and "compensate" her and still respect her wishes.
