Well,

I just bought the card from Norm, he's shipping it out for me tomorrow, he told me it works fine and will work in my cube with teh bracket switched, so hopefully all goes well. He's a good guy, told me if the card didn't work I get my money back.

For 69 bucks I can't go wrong with a radeon card for my cube! Woot, I can play warcraft now!

The dude, did you have a bad experience with Norm?

Actually, I could tell you what happened. The Dude shipped me some posters and a few burned CDs in exchange that I'd send him CDs. Due to various complications, I didn't send him the CDs for months and by the time I could The Dude became angry and well things fell apart from that.

In any case though, I'm shipping the card to you tomorrow.

Well, Norm said he'd send me the card today (Thursday). I emailed him asking for a confirmation/tracking number when he sends it. But I based my trust on buying from him from the number of posts he has - I figure he's been around MacNN long enough, he's gotta be trustworthy. =P

yep, got the radeon card today, aside from being dusty, all was well and i got the card exactly when i asked for it. hopefully norm will get more hardware to sell me! =p
