Hello everybody,

I'm a college student and I need a laptop for notes and stuff..

To the end of being able to buy the TiBook that I want , I will be selling my desktop G4 and everything with it, if I can get a reasonable price for it.

Here are the comp specs:
Computer:

Sawtooth Architecture.
G4/400
Stock Rage 128 Pro vcard
640 meg RAM
Stock DVD drive
10 gig 7200rpm hdd
30 gig 5400rpm hdd
Farallon ethernet card *see PROBLEMS*
OS 9.0 (All original disks come with the computer. 4 CDs.)

Peripherals:
Microsoft Internet Keyboard
Logitech optical mouse
Imation Superdisk drive w/3 disks
KDS 15" CRT (viewable) monitor

**PROBLEMS**
The onboard ethernet went bad about 10 months ago. I replaced it with a 10Mbs Farallon ethernet card, and haven't had any problems since.
**END PROBLEMS**
I just had a thought.. If anybody has a TiBook they would be willing to trade in turn for this system, I would definitely think about it..

Anyways, if anybody could tell me what they think, I'd appreciate it.

PM me, email me, whatever..

(edited to include monitor type )

If I were in the market to buy, I'd offer $700-800 for it. However, there are shoppers on eBay that might give you more for it. OTOH given that it is an older machine and prices are coming down on newer ones you may not want to hold your breath.

One minor detail that would add to the value of the package: is your monitor CRT or LCD? And what model? Be sure to include that info when you go to sell.

Side note if you're considering eBay: if you've ever sold an item on eBay before, you'll remember to include decent and accurate photos of the package in include as many details as possible. If you HAVEN'T sold an item on eBay before, you've just learned something for free...enjoy it because it won't happen often in college

Best of luck!
