Anyone looking to trade?
looking for a cd-r/dvd combo(or external burner) and alot of ram

I have a Powerbook G4 400 Mhz
512 RAM
10 gig HD
DVD Drive

Just to let you know, it's very rare to find a Pismo with a combo drive. They were made to fit the Pismo drive bay, but they were really expensive (like 500 bucks or something) and most Pismo users looking for CD writing capability opt for an external FireWire drive instead. It makes sense, really: how many people NEED to burn CD's while on the road? And those who do can usually carry a small external drive with them. Personally I wouldn't hold out for a combo drive pismo - you'd probably be better off looking for a Pismo + $300 or something, and buying a used FireWire burner on eBay.

Just a thought...

i've taken that into concideration
alot of people that have answered me so far have external burners and i can understand why

its just a though, i should change the wording its not a necessity

I was thinking about going for this trade . . .

Then I saw what's been done to the poor TiBook.

Wasn't it some movie from before my time where some character was known for saying "the horror . . . the horror . . . ?"
