For Sale: Upgraded Power Mac G4 867mhz Quicksilver

Model: M8360LL/A

This Mac was recently purchased new the night Jaguar 10.2 was released, so it has nearly a year left of Apple Care. It has also been upgraded in a few ways from it's original configuration, including a second hard drive, added RAM, and much better graphics card.

Hardware specs:
867mhz G4 CPU
60GB + 40GB Hard drive = 100GB Hard drive space
SuperDrive
ATi Radeon 8500 64MB Graphics card (supports dual display and TV-Out, and is at least twice as fast as original GeForce2 MX)
384MB PC-133 SDRAM (upgraded from 128)
Apple Pro Keyboard & Mouse
Apple Pro Speakers ($60 value)

Software Installed (programs will be backed-up on CD-R for buyer and are full retail version)
OS X 10.2 Jaguar
OS 9.2.1
Apple DVD Studio Pro 1.5
Apple Final Cut Pro 3.0
Office Mac v. X
Adobe Photoshop 7
Adobe After Effects 5.5
Adobe Live Motion 2
Adobe go Live 6
Macromedia Studio MX (Dreaweaver, flash, fireworks, & Freehand)
Quark XPress 5
Finale 2002 Music Notation software
iDVD, iMovie, iTunes, iPhoto, iSync, iCal, and Appleworks 6
Quake 3 Arena & Team Arena
Original system Discs and software restore.

This awesome Mac has been treated with TLC and will ship in the original box, with all original CDs and documentation, plus original sales receipt for Apple Care reasons.

Original price minus upgrades was $2499, then lowered to $1999. Upgrade value is about $350. Software value is up to the buyers opinion. I am asking $1540 with shipping. This price is comparible to the average selling price on eBay for a mac of this quality.

I accept Money Order or Cashiers Check. PayPal may also be used but I must add 3% to the total to make up for fees. I will ship UPS with tracking number the same day or day after payment is received and verified at a bank. If you have any questions or would like to see pictures or screen shots, contact me at headbox@mac.com and I will get back to you right away.

This is a great deal on a fantastic machine! I did want you to be aware that it is against PayPal TOS to add the 3% to cover PayPal fees. What I mean is, you can't have one price for money orders, cash, etc and another price for PayPal. Just factor the PayPal fee into the price you ask

From the PayPal User Agreement (Full Text )

No Surcharges. Under Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express regulations and the laws of several states, including California, merchants may not charge a fee to the buyer for accepting credit card payments (often called a "surcharge"). You agree that you will not impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting PayPal as payment. This restriction does not prevent you from imposing a handling fee in connection with the sale of goods or services, as long as the handling fee does not operate as a surcharge (in other words, the handling fee for transactions paid through PayPal may not be higher than the handling fee for transactions paid through other payment methods).
Yeah, about those TPS reports, didn't you get the memo?

so there's no retail packaging, or manuals for this software? Do you have the retail lisence for these products? Or is this software obtained by means other than purchasing it?

Their 3% fee is not in regards to ebay auctions. It was introduced before ebay bought paypal out, and the fee is not dependent on whether you're listing an auction or not. And it is against paypal's TOS to charge that fee, period.

I don't mean to sound like an ass, I'm just making sure someone doesn't get shafted.
