14GB HD
CD-RW
600 G3
It comes with the following software:
Adobe Photoshop 7

Comes with a nice bag. Compaq but fits the iBook perfectly.

How much? Since there's no price currently I'll offer $450
Seriously, a few questions. Is the media/license included for the software? If not then you cannot consider the value of the software in the price you ask. Can you post some pics of the iBook itself? Does it come with an Airport card? Last, what are you looking to get for this iBook?
|
|
Yeah, about those TPS reports, didn't you get the memo?

Hi,
It has no airport card.
And, since I will need the CD's for my new computer, I can't give you the cds. Although I could make a backup to give to you?
I was looking for around £1000-1100, and since I guess your from the US, we will have to arrange shipping if you want it, the price in US is $1700, im willing to go lower.

Guy, you are freaking retarded coming here with an offer like that. $1700?!
I usually hate all the "that's too much!" posts in the forum, but this thread needs it. A 700 MHz iBook with 640 MB of RAM, a Combo Drive, and a 20 GB hard drive sells for less than what you are asking. (How much less depends on where you get the RAM)
You're obviously stupid, so I'll spell it out for you. The bold parts are the areas where a brand new iBook that is cheaper beats your old iBook. That's a BRAND NEW iBook, with a full year warranty.
erik006 is right, you might get $1100-1200 for that thing, but $1700 is insane. You'd have to get someone pretty stupid to pay that. If you want to make $600 selling warez go to freakin' eBay and just do it. Don't insult us here with this shitty offer.

It's rather easy - you are selling a year old laptop for more than the price of a brand new, faster and better equipped one. You are using pirated software to justify it.

Hey stupid,
Its is warze if you don't give up your license and CD with the sale. You can't copy a CD and consider it the same as the original. In fact you are in violation of the user agreement you said you'd abide by with Adobe if you do that. SO shut the hell up and know what you are talking about next time. In fact just go away. Salope.

First: That price is very high, but it's his choice to ask. Sure it'll never sell, but he can learn.
Second: It is pirating if you are no including the original CDs and documentation, and any backup copies made.
All of the listed software is not worth anything, and adds nothing to the purchase price.
Third: To everyone else. Relax. You do not need to torture everyone who comes to the forum, even when you do not agree. Politely point out that the price is ludicrous, do not assault the person.
There is a nice little report this post link. It sends an email out informing the mods about the post.
Thank you.

I can't believe you guys are OK with someone trying to sell an old computer at a higher-than-new price, and loading it up with stolen software to justify it. (if he's not giving the original CDs, it is stealing)
Thought I'd get a little support on this one. I'm honestly not worried in the least about offending a thief and a scammer.

I agree for the most part Scott, but I would think that the moderators would not take the selling of pirated software in this forum so lightly. Certainly it is not out the question to ban such a thing.
