Hi,

I've got an Apple AirPort Card for sale, since my new PowerBook will come with one preinstalled. Like new condition, with original box, documentation, software, and iMac adapter. Make an offer here or to btober AT mac DOT com.

Thanks!

LawrenceX:

You can't make it work in a Lombard powerbook. The lombard doesn't have a airport slot, it has a pcmcia slot.
For the lombard you really want the cisco 340 or cisco 350 (pcm352) card. The cisco has drivers for OS 9 and OS X.

If you only use OS 9 on the Lombard you will want a Lucent WaveLan card.

in fact, macresq.com has the cisco 340 card for $80.00 US. This is the best option for the Lombard.

If this post is in the Lounge forum, it is likely to be my own opinion, and not representative of the position of MacNN.com.
