I am looking to buy an old PowerBook 1xx series. Here's what I'm looking for:

1. No major problems (malfunctioning screen, bad/no hard drive, chimes of death at startup, etc)
2. Has a working AC adapter. I don't really need battery power, just something I can use in different rooms.
3. Either includes an ethernet card or can accept an ethernet card. Otherwise it's pretty much useless.
4. I'm not looking to spend more than about $50 for a PowerBook with ethernet card, probably less. Let me know what you have.

I also have an LC III+ with a 500 MB hard drive, 20 MB of RAM, and a 12" monitor I can trade for it.

Someone just informed me that the 1xx series PowerBooks can't use ethernet - that their only expansion slot is a modem slot, and it can only use a modem.

So if anyone has *any* cheap PowerBook with ethernet capability, I'm interested. That includes, as far as I know, the 190, the 5xx series, and the 5300 if I can find one cheap enough. If you have one of those, I'm interested, as long as it's not too expensive. So a tricked-out 5300ce with processor upgrades and all sorts of extras isn't really what I'm looking for.

I have a Powerbook 190 with 20MB Ram and 520MB Hard Drive with Mac OS 7.53. I also have an Asante Micro EN SCSI Adapter for the powerbook. (It allows Ethernet connections.)

Will sell all for $50. Let me know.

Sorry, I'm no longer interested. I got a shiny brand new iBook today.
