I'm looking to trade this server for at least a B&W G3 or mebbe one of the black PowerBooks (to run NetBSD). I'd prefer one of the older powerbooks.

The config is as follows:

300+ megs of ram.
dual P3-600mhz chips
two 9 gig scsi drives
cd-rom
Some NVidea card -- forget the model but it has 64 megs.
"Authentic" IBM keyboard and mouse

I can install a copy of RedHat if that floats your boat.

I can get the exact specs when I get home if anyone is interested. If not...just let this post die with dignity.

Post all the specs.
Mobo, ram slots, PCI and what type, what are the HDs, what RPM, SCSI onboard, what speed, all that relevant info that I need.
Are the P3s 512KB L2 cache?
Exactly how much ram.
And everything else I didn't think of.
Also, how many inches tall is the tower?

Look at the following site:

http://www.pc.ibm.com/qtechinfo/MIGR-4ANS32.html

That'll have to hold you over till I can get downstairs and get the info you need. You can always go to IBM.COM and look up the 3500 M10 yourself if you'd like.

It's a standard configuration PCI server with onbard SCSI, two P3-600's with 512k cache. About four fans. All four ram slots are full and it's running around 350 megs of ram (mebbe a bit less). There are two medium speed SCSI drives which are 9 gigs each.

I'll post a FULL listing of the gear thursday evening.
