OK new plan, anyone selling a G3 upgrade? I need one for a PowerTower Pro. So any standard daughter card 7500/8500/9500 type card should work. I'll take a G4 too, but I'm looking to pinch pennies :-D. Let me know if you've got one for sale? Also, if anyone wants to purchase a 225 MHz 604e card.. I should have one to go soon.

check out

www.datamem.com

I bought a Sonnet Crescendo g3 450mhz from them for a $142 for my Mom's Umax S900. It's excellent. And pretty cheap.

Hope that helps.

Yeah they still got that $142 deal, maybe I'll go for that as a last resort.

Thats a good price but still im not upgrading for speed, im upgrading for processor compatibility, I think I'm just going to try and get a zif carrier card for cheap and get a used apple 300/1M zif also for cheap. Hopefully i'll get them both for under $100, and in a few years, when dual 500 upgrades are dirt cheap, ill re-upgrade again.
