That's my "Real World Price".

The Cube setup with the display is worth about $1,000.

The G4 itself is almost as bad as a B&W G3, the fact that it does not have an AGP slot makes it the most undesireable of the G4 lineup. The machine itself is worth about $500, the display adds another $150 or so.

The accessories such as the printer and the Palm may add a bit of value, but the value of used peripherals can only be set by the person who actually wants them.

Software isnt worth much, because honestly, too many people pirate it, it is also outdated too quickly.

Dont be so shocked by $1,500-$1,650, you need to keep in mind the age of the machines, and the bang that you can get from Apple for $2,000 or under.

If you want the highest price possible, as always... Go the eBay way. If you do that, part things out, you will not find many people that want to buy all of that.

As u can see here HERE buying directly from apple you have to pay $949 for an old G3 iMac.
I'm not really sure The G4 costs half of it, plus the zip, ram, CDR-w.
But thx, all comments are welcome to get an idea of the correct cost.

Okay.

I see no reason in hell why you would look at Apples worst priced machine, you can get iBook more powerful than that for less money. If you want to look at the prices of new Macs, look at an eMac.

700MHz G4
128MB's of RAM (Which can be upgraded with a 512MB stick for under $40 from anywhere online)
A DVD/CD-RW Combo drive.
A 40GB Hard Drive.
And a GeForce 2MX with 32MB's of DDR RAM.

Or,

A machine such as this
With a G4 @ 933MHz.
A SuperDrive.
A GeForce 4MX.
256MB's of RAM.
And a 60GB Hard Drive.

I have also seen this machine directly from Apple as a refusbished for under $1,200.

Hang on.

Are these LCD or CRT displays? Because if they are LCD's, you are looking at closer to $3,000 for the package.

Don't sell the whole thing as a package. It's bad enough to sell one computer with a monitor... most people already have a monitor. When you're selling two together, it makes it worse... most people don't need two computers at once. They buy what they need, and everything else is useless to them, and therefore it's worth nothing.

So, the Cube 450 MHz, with just the basic components (and keyboard + mouse, it's pretty standard to include those) is worth about $600. The G4 Tower is worth about $500. Most of the other items are worth about $50 each, at least if you average them out. I'm not sure what all of them are, exactly, but I'd guesstimate at $50 each. Then the monitors are about $150 each.

So $1100 for the computers, $300 for the two monitors, and $500 at most for all the other stuff combined. That's $1900, at most.

Don't use the CRT iMac as a point of comparison. It's the worst value for the money in Apple's line right now. Compare it to the dual 867 G4s available now for $1699.

I agree with PowerMacMan that the best bet is to sell everything separately on eBay. Don't even sell the computers with their monitors. That will maximize the amount of money you make. If you sell it all together, I'd be surprised if you could get $1500 for it, maybe less.

EDIT: Yes, it's very important to know if they're CRTs or LCDs. My estimates were made on the basis of them being CRTs, but if they're LCDs then they could definitely bring in $600 each.

Thanks for your opinions, and yes the monitors are CRTs.
And I'll be selling separately too.
Of course the price goes up, cause here in mexico prices goes up like hell, for example the Tibook SD is 3000 bucks there, but here will be in 4000, I said will be cause of course is not here yet, I hate that things happening.
