I recently bought an Epson Perfection 1250 @WalMart for $97.00.......it works with ok w/ 10.2.3 for basic scanning, and way better with VueScan (another $40.00 unfortunately) but well worth it ........

HTH !

I have an Agfa SnapScan 1212u that works beutifully with OSX. Have Photoshop 7 plugins and/or the actually app native in X. I never had a problem with either the scanner or the software! Works great!

I just don't use it as much as I should.

$100? but we can negotiate ;p

Hmm, considering that I bought my Umax scanner new at like $35 in '01, I was hoping to hit the $50 range. Is that too unrealistic?

Good to know, i guess I got a great deal (at the time), but perhaps someone doesn't need their scanner bought at $100 new.

I did pay $1000 for my HP ScanJet 4c when it came out, sigh. I should have kept it.
